We partnered with Livelihood, a premium sustainable basics brand, to launch and manage a full marketing strategy focused on elevating brand identity, driving DTC growth, and increasing customer engagement. Our work spanned content creation, social media, email marketing, influencer outreach, SEO, and campaign planning—resulting in stronger brand consistency, increased traffic, and higher retention. This ongoing partnership continues to support Livelihood’s growth in the sustainable fashion space.
Summary
We partnered with Livelihood, a sustainable clothing brand specializing in premium 100% Supima cotton basics, to develop and implement a full-scale marketing strategy. The project began in early 2024 and continues as an ongoing collaboration.
Our primary focus was to strengthen Livelihood’s brand presence and elevate its messaging around comfort, quality, and long-lasting design. The strategy included a full suite of services: content creation, social media management, email marketing, influencer outreach, SEO, and direct-to-consumer campaign planning.
The outcome was a refreshed digital presence, consistent brand storytelling, and a steady increase in online engagement and sales. Livelihood is now positioned as a trusted, elevated essential in the sustainable fashion space.
Challenge
When Livelihood approached us, they had a strong product—ethically made, high-quality Supima cotton basics—but lacked a cohesive digital presence to match. Despite their commitment to sustainability and quality, the brand’s digital presence was underdeveloped, with inconsistent messaging and limited online visibility.
There was no unified voice across platforms, minimal engagement on social media, and underutilized email marketing. Additionally, Livelihood faced the common challenge of standing out in a saturated apparel market without relying on fast fashion tactics. They needed a strategy that would elevate their story, clarify their value proposition, and drive awareness and sales—without compromising their core mission.
Solutions
To bring Livelihood’s vision to life, we developed and executed a full-funnel marketing strategy tailored to a growing DTC brand. Our work began with refining the brand’s voice and messaging to better communicate its focus on high-quality, sustainably made basics. We then translated that narrative across key platforms.
We built a consistent and engaging content strategy for Instagram and TikTok, focusing on education, lifestyle storytelling, and community-building. On the email side, we launched a series of Klaviyo flows and campaigns designed to drive retention, educate first-time customers, and support product launches.
Our process was highly collaborative—meeting weekly with the Livelihood team, responding in real-time to product and audience insights, and adjusting strategy as the brand scaled. We also advised on website UX, supported influencer partnerships, and provided analytics-driven reporting to guide ongoing improvements.
